On November 27, 1997 MTV aired a special Thaksgiving show featuring america's sweethearts Beavis and Butthead. B&Bs final episode was set to air the folowwing night on the network so this was a perfect opportunity for MTV to promote the boys' final episode the day before the series finale. So watch now as Kurt Loader tries to teach the boys the true meaning of Thanksgiving.

Originally airing on December 15, 1982 "A Christmas Story" was the show's first ever Christmas themed episode. A blizzard forces the Keatons to spend Christmas at home instead of going on a ski trip. Elyse's gift to Steven, an album filled with old photos, sparks a series of flashbacks to the birth of their three children. We soon discover that Alex was born in Africa in 1965 as the Keatons were in the country doing work for the Peace Corps. Another flashback sequence reveals the Keatons at the hospital for Jennifer's birth on election day in 1972. When Nixon wins the election we see a very young Alex celebrating through the halls of the hospital. The episode also features Peter Jurassic from Babylon 5 in a guest role. Tonight "the Shat" was back, and to everyone's surprise Palin came out to read excerpts from his autobiography "Up 'till now". This truly is "must see T.V."

This weekend the first official stinker of the 2009 movie season hit theaters with the release of Will Ferrel's version of Land of the Los t. With a budget of over 100 million dollars the film opened nationwide to a meager 17 million dollar take at the box office. I, like many other fans of the previous Land of the Lost shows did not go see it for the simple reason that it's just not the Land of the Lost I grew up with. I was not even alive when the original show aired, but when the 90s version premiered back in 1991, I tuned in and soon became hooked. Many fans of the original have bashed this version to no end, but I was only around 11 years old when it aired and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
